The beauty of tourism in Bangkinang

Bangkinang is the capital of the Kampar Regency in Riau Province. After further exploration, it turns out that Bangkinang also has many tourist attractions with natural, historical, religious and cultural nuances that are not inferior to other big city tours. This regency offers quite a number of tourist options for you to visit. To make it easier for you to find tourist attractions in Bangkinang, Kampar, the most beautiful and recommended to visit. 1. Gulamo River

Gulamo River is a geopark themed tour of Kampar Regency that must be visited while you are in this city. Gulamo River is unique, like the Green Canyon in Pangandaran, the water is clear with blue and green colors. The green and blue colors come from the reflection of the lush forest that surrounds the Gulamo River. Visiting these tourist destinations in Bangkinang, don't miss the opportunity to swim. The cold water combined with the natural scenery tempts you to plunge and linger in the water. The river flow is flanked by large rocks and the rock wall at the Gulamo waterfall looks like a fault and is a great spot for selfies.

2. PLTA Koto Panjang

PLTA Koto Panjang is a hydroelectric power plant located in Kampar Regency, Riau. This hydropower plant uses water from the Kampar River to drive its turbines. Interestingly, recently PLTA Koto Panjang has become one of the destinations for backpackers to travel to while in Bangkinang because it has a number of charming natural tourist locations. There is an artificial lake area in PLTA Koto Panjang which was built in 1993. The tourist object in Bangkinang was a residential area that was drowned by the Koto Panjang PLTA, the lake was used for the needs of the construction of a PLTA for power generation. Now, the lake is also a recreation center at PLTA Koto Panjang. You can go along this tourist attraction in Bangkinang by boat and stop at one island in the lake called Tonga Island. On the island, there are lodging facilities provided for visitors. Near the tourist area in Bangkinang, there are also various other tourist attractions such as the Arao Besar waterfall and the Landak Cave which you can take for 1 hour by boat. Of course, this activity is perfect for you backpackers who have an adventurous spirit.

3. Puncak Kompe

Another tourist destination in Bangkinang that you must visit is Puncak Kompe which is on Jl. Lintas West Sumatra, Koto Mesjid, Kec. XIII Koto Kampar, Kampar Regency. This tourist destination in Bangkinang is nicknamed the 'Raja Ampat' of Bangkinang because the beautiful scenery from a height on the hill at a glance looks like Raja Ampat in Papua. This tourist location in Bangkinang is indeed very Instragamable and offers a variety of photo spots with the background like a cluster resembling Raja Ampat.
